It is produced by combining two or more glass plates under heat and pressure with the help of special binder “POLY VINYL BUTYRAL  (PVB) layers. It reduces the risk of injury by keeping the parts in place in case of breakage. Due to this feature, laminated glasses are considered safety glass. Laminated Glass is also the right choice in terms of preventing or delaying unwanted transitions from one side to the other. Inner glazing of double glazing is a standard recommended application in lamination, curved or overhead glazing applications. Laminated, insulating glass units can be created with colorless, blend-coloured, coated and heat-treated (tempered) glasses. Laminated Glass is also useful in terms of preserving the natural colors of the items for a longer period of time and noise control, with its low UV permeability. Standard Laminated Glass production is made with 0.38 mm thick colorless PVB. Depending on the project requirements and other needs, interconnectors with a thickness of 0.76, 1.14, or 1.52 mm can also be used. In order to provide suitable combinations for solar control and various insulation purposes, in addition to the thickness of the transparent binder, interconnectors with LOW-E or colored sandblasting effect for different designs can be used. It is possible to create various decorative combinations with binders.
